The Daughter Wound Project™ documents the wounds
women carry, the forces that shape their lives,
and the work of reclaiming what was lost.
Our work is organized around four interconnected pillars. Together, they examine personal suffering, family relationships, institutional harm, and the possibilities of life beyond the wound.
Understanding trauma, psychological suffering,
recovery, and the ways mental health is defined,
treated, and sometimes misunderstood.
Examining the intimate experiences of childhood,
family relationships, attachment, abandonment,
and the wounds carried between generations.
Investigating the cultural, institutional, and
systemic forces that shape women's lives, silence their
experiences, and influence how their suffering is understood.
Documenting what comes next: rebuilding, reclaiming
purpose, finding community, and creating a life
that is more than the wounds we've survived.
